Booth Participants Recruitment for 2018 Seoul Pride

Booth Participants Recruitment for 2018 Seoul Pride

2018 Seoul Queer Culture Festival (aka Seoul Pride) is taking place on the 14th of July at Seoul Plaza in front of Seoul city hall. <Seoul Drag Parade> and <LGBTQIA+ And Allies In Korea> are running a booth together at the festival on that day. We are looking for people to participate in our booth's programs. There are four categories: Drag Artists, Vendors, Make-Up Artists, and Volunteers. Take a look at the details below and apply by sending us an E-mail with a brief introduction of yourself at seouldragparade@gmail.com

Category 1. Drag Artists
Drag Artists will be staying at the booth for a certain amount of time and take photos with people and get tipped. Easy Job! The tips will be collected altogether first and later shared with all drag artists. (Part of the tips will be used to cover the booth fee.) If you do drag and would like to make some cash through this easy job, choose a time slot from the options below and apply for the job! You can apply for more than one time slot if you would like! We are hiring 2 or 3 drag artists for each slot.
12PM-2PM / 2PM-4PM / 4PM-6PM (Parade will happen during this time!) / 6PM-7PM

Category 2. Vendors
Vendors must stay at the booth for most of the time during the festival. The booth hours start at 11AM and ends at 7PM. If you would like to participate in the parade in the afternoon, or if you need to leave a little bit earlier, or something like that, we can be a little bit flexible with your schedule. We have already recruited 2 vendors and we are looking for 2 more at the moment. Vendors who sell queer-related products or work will be considered firstly.

Category 3. Make-Up Artists
We are looking for make-up artists who will be providing drag make-up to people who want to try out drag make-up at the booth. We have limited time and space for this program so the drag make-up will have to be rather simplified and less "authentic". We will provide all the necessary make-up items to the make-up artists. We will be providing this service with a fee. 50% of the profits will be donated to fund the booth and the other 50% will go to the make-up artists. Make-up artists do not need to stay at the booth all day on the festival day, but we would like to ask them to stay as long as they can. The more they work, the more money they will make, anyway! We are recruiting up to 4 make-up artists.

Category 4. Volunteers
The assistance of volunteers has always been vital for booth programs every year. Volunteers do not have set roles, however, booth managers, vendors, and artists will need volunteers' help as booths tend to get extremely busy on festival day. .) If you would like to volunteer, choose a time slot from the options below and apply! You can apply for more than one time slot if you would like! We would like to have 2 or 3 volunteers for each slot ideally. Volunteers can enter <Pride After-Party hosted by Seoul Drag Parade> for free, later that day!
12PM-2PM / 2PM-4PM / 4PM-6PM (Parade will happen during this time!) / 6PM-7:15PM (Cleaning part really requires volunteers' help at the end of the festival!)
