Additional Recruitment for 2018 Seoul Pride Booth

We have been recruiting vendors, drag artists, make-up artists, and volunteers for our 2018 Seoul Pride booth. A lot of people applied for the positions and we really appreciate it. Now the event is about 10 days away and we are still looking for some more people who will participate in our booth programs. Take a look at the available positions below and submit your application to us at seouldragparade@gmail.com.

1. Seller (1 – 2 people)
We’re recruiting one or two people who can sell their own goods, art, food, or anything else appropriate for the Queer Culture Festival. Currently we have YouTuber Hayden Royalty and queer artist Heezy Yang.

2. Makeup Artist (2 – 3 people)
This year our booth will provide a drag makeup experience in return for donations. From the donations, 50% would go towards the booths’ operating expenses and 50% would go to the makeup artists who help out. We would prefer those with experience in drag makeup and anyone with a passion for celebrating drag.

3. Drag Artists (2 – 3 people)
We’re looking for some drag artists who can help out at the booth by greeting visitors and taking pictures in exchange for tips and donations. From the donations, 50% would go towards the booths’ operating expenses and 50% would go to the drag artists who help out. Any style of drag or any age is fine.

4. Volunteers (3 people)
A lot of people signed up for volunteering but we still have 3 more spaces to fill! All volunteers will receive free entry to Seoul Drag Parade’s After Party. Please find availabilities below:

10AM – 12PM (1 person)
We need someone to help transport the booth supplies and equipment. We’ll need help packing stuff into the van. This is a really important role but we have less stuff than you might imagine and nothing is that heavy.

4PM – 6PM (1 person)
This is the time when the parade will take place so it might not be easy to find a volunteer. Even during the parade, we must have someone running the booth and it would be a huge help if someone could do this for us.

6PM – 7:15PM (1 person)
We really need help for cleaning & tidying up when we are closing the booth. We have recruited a few people for it already but we would like to find one more person who'd like to help us!
